Tampa Family Law Mediators
Courtney is a strong believer in the benefits of mediation in family law cases. Every family is unique and brings a different set of circumstances to the table. Different parties may have differing opinions regarding what is most important under his or her circumstances.
Mediation allows both parties to make personal decisions about their unique family and financial situations. Mediation also allows parents to lay the foundation for working together in co-parenting and raising children that litigation often disrupts.Mediation allows parties to attempt to resolve their issues in a confidential way that is ultimately more time effective and less costly than going to court to resolve a divorce or other family law case.
Courtney approaches each case focusing on what is important to each party and finding creative ways for the parties to achieve their goals and resolve their issues. The role of the mediator is to remain neutral and the mediator does not make decisions for the parties, rather, it is the role of the mediator to help the parties think outside of the box, and recognize the middle-ground where the parties will be able to reach a resolution.
Courtney prides herself on her ability to maintain a comfort level for the parties during the mediation process, which can be a very stressful experience. She offers an office in beautiful historic Hyde Park with parking and conference rooms. Courtney will also travel for mediation throughout Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas Counties.
